ScrapHappy February 2023

IT’S THE 15th AGAIN…. HOW QUICKLY DOES IT GO !

3 WEEKS TILL MY GRAND BABY IS BORN AND I’M SUPER EXCITED 🥰

THIS MONTHS PROJECT WAS A GIFT TO A FRIEND WHO VISITED FROM PERTH EARLIER IN JANUARY.

AS ALWAYS, WHEN I ASK WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO MAKE ?… I ALWAYS GET ASKED TO MAKE SOME TABLE RUNNERS. A FOOLPROOF EASY PROJECT WHICH USES UP SCRAPS.

The two runners gift wrapped with some ribbon.
A small runner for her small coffee table made with a pillowcase left from a previous project, I used the rag quilt method.
This was a larger runner which I made from some leftover fabric and topped it with some gold brocade for a bit of a fancier finish. I had enough fabric left to bind the edges as well. The gold was left over from my Christmas projects. Scraps well used up.
Free motion quilting and my little label & I’m complete 😍

And thanks for a picture of your label…I had been peering at the photos to see what it looked like! Lovely to use the Christmas sparkles up too.
