Midori 💚
It’s ScrapHappy time again and this time I’ve tried my hand at something new and I still have a lot of practice to make perfect left but I’ve got the hang of it !!!
Yes 🙌🏻 I have tried my hand at QAYG 🤩. I (as usual) have not followed the traditional method but found a slightly easier way on YouTube ( which is the bees knees as far as I’m concerned 😁).
I was so excited having figured it out that I completely forgot to place the blocks on opposite sides so as to balance it out 🤦♀️
But what can I say …. it’s all made from scraps and I’ve done FMQ on it ( another of my passions) & have joined them with QAYG method ….
Hurrah 😃 I cannot explain how pleased I am with myself 🤩

ScrapHappy is open to anyone using up scraps of anything – no new materials. It can be a quilt block, pincushion, bag or hat, socks or a sculpture. Anything made of scraps is eligible. If your scrap collection is out of control and you’d like to turn it into something beautiful or useful instead of leaving it to collect dust in the cupboard, why not join us on the 15th of each month? Either e-mail Kate at the address on her Contact Me page, or leave a comment on her Scrap Happy Post. You can also contact Gun via her blog to join. We welcome new members. You don’t have to worry about making a long term commitment or even join in every month. Regular contributors receive an email reminder at least three days before the event.
