BLOCKS for OC

This is the first year I have volunteered to make blocks for Ovarian Cancer fundraiser. I have been quilting and learning different blocks for the last two years now and I’m hoping I have made something that can be used in the quilt.

Kate has been making these beautiful quilts for many years and I feel privileged to be part of this process.

The four blocks made so far 😍

This looks very blue instead of teal .. so may not be part of the blocks

ScrapHappy May 2022

And here we are again…. A super time of the month…. When we all share our lovely ScrapHappiness 🤗

My post is going to be a short one as we leave in an hour to hit the road again. We are heading to Mundulla in South Australia. It’s 505kms of riding and I don’t think I’ll be in any shape to do any blogging later 😄

This piece is a follow up to the rag quilt I sent my aunt last month. I noticed a cushion sitting on her bed and decided she needed a cover for it.

And I present …..

Having seen a pillow behind the cushion I’m thinking a matching pillow case too …. I have enough scraps for it 🤩

Here are the links for everyone who joins ScrapHappy from time to time (they may not post every time, but their blogs are still worth looking at).
