“The fabric scraps I cut with care,
All sorts of shapes placed here and there,
To form a block, then two, then three,
Put together – A bag for me 😍
Thus was originally a blouse given to me but it was very big on me. I did not want to throw it away or give it away so I decided it would be recycled.
The outer…. The lining… handles…. Binding…. I managed to get a complete bag including a pocket from the feature of the blouse 💝

A Friday Finish….
Tried my hand at something new and I like it a lot.
Now to decide what I’m going to do with this block as I don’t have any more pieces to make another block.
So will have to be innovative…. Let’s see what I come up with …

A rag quilt for a baby who is yet to arrive.
My friend asked me to do it in cream and white as they will get to know if it’s a girl or boy once born.
She loves shades of white and loves my rag quilts
I have done FMQ on it as it gives it a lovely look.
She doesn’t know it’s completed yet and I’m looking forward to her reaction 🤩
